Fishing guide

Marble Trout (Salmo Marmoratus) is a European species of freshwater fish of the Salmon family. These fish can be found only in the northern pass of the Adriatic basin, some rivers in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, and Montenegro. Marble Trout prefers to inhabit cold river and lakes close to mountainous areas. The Marble Trout has a large head and a long, cylindrical body, slightly compressed on the sides. Silvery to olive-green in color, it is easily recognized by its distinctive brownish-red pattern, resembling that of marble. These large fish usually grow to about 30 -70 cm in length and from 1 to 4 kg in mass, with unique specimen weighing up to 6.5 kg. Marble Trout feed mainly on other fish and invertebrates.

If you are more into artificial lures, you should go for some Narrow Spoons.

The most successful lure is Green Holographic Narrow Spoon 21 g, #3/0.
