Fishing guide

Silver Arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum) is a tropical freshwater fish that is native to South America, particularly in the basins of such river as the Amazon, Essequibo, and Oyapock, in both blackwater and whitewater habitats as well as flooded forests. These fish have long, laterally compressed bodies that are covered in large and shiny silvery-golden scales that resemble armor plating. Arowana can grow up to 120 cm in length, weighing on average around 4.6 kg, sometimes reaching a maximum weight of up to 6 kg. Silver Arowana are skilled predators that are sometimes called “monkey fish” for jumping out of the water to catch their prey. Their main diet consists of insects, crustaceans, fish, and any animals found on the water surface.

If you are more into artificial lures, you should go for some Swimbaits.

The most successful lure is Natural Blue Duo Swimbait 56 g, #4/0.
