Line Types

There are three types of fishing line in the game. Make sure to choose the one that best fits your fishing techniques.

Mono - a thin fishing line that is almost invisible to fish and can stretch quite a bit. This absorbs the shock, sometimes helping prevent its breakage.

Fluorocarbon - the most invisible to fish, this type of line doesn't stretch.

Braid - the strongest of all line types. The disadvantages are that it has no stretch and is much more visible under water.

Tackle Weight Distribution

When assembling your fishing tackle, pay attention to such params as lure weight and max load of the rod, line and reel.

Wrong weight distribution can affect your casting distance, while using a heavy lure on a light rod might result in breakage right in the middle of a cast! Pay attention to warning messages and aim at optimized weight distribution.
